Robert was previously a partner at NEK Advanced Securities Group (NEK) where he led the global business development, communications, government, national security, and foreign affairs efforts. In addition, Robert has experience with oil and gas acquisition, exploitation, production, transportation, and services. He is known as a prolific political and philanthropic fundraiser co-producing dozens of events for the White House, government agencies, veterans organizations, and for national and local charitable causes.
He enjoyed a lengthy and highly distinguished career in public service, where he was a Presidential Appointee in the George W. Bush Administration and served in the United States Congress. He was Chief of Staff for a Member of Congress while serving on the House Armed Services Committee, Natural Resources Committee and Veterans Affairs Committee. During his tenure in Congress, he was responsible for developing and managing the defense, military, veterans and small business advisory boards and the Cyber Security Task Force. In addition, he created and managed the National Energy Advisory Board.
While serving the President of the United States, Robert was Chief of Staff in the Office of Federal Contract Compliance with the United States Department of Labor. In 2005, while continuing to serve the President, Robert was the National Spokesman and Deputy Director of Communications on the Presidential Defense Base Realignment & Closure Commission (BRAC). The commission was formed to review and analyze the Pentagon's plan to realign United States military forces.
He served as Chief Liaison to the President and Prime Minister of Turkey and the White House during the G-8 Summit. Served on the 2000 and 2004 Presidential Inaugural Committees. He led Advance Teams during both the 2000 and 2004 Presidential Elections for President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. He served on dozens of assignments throughout the Middle East, Africa and Europe/Eurasia.
